Rest and Restore Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica

I invite you to retreat with me in the beautiful Costa Rica. Our week together is an opportunity for you to rest and deeply restore, filling your cup, nourishing your body with local organic foods, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings, swimming, reading, walking on the beach and simply resting.
Beachfront villa located directly on the beach will offer us everyday sunsets, plenty of time to connect with the land, the ocean, while savoring lovingly prepared meals from a local private chef.
I invite you to slow down and unplug as you settle into your body. Together we'll explore yoga practices as a means for deepening your relationship with the body and self.
Two yoga classes will be offered daily, morning hatha yoga and evening yin and restorative yoga with zen meditations to close and the rest of the time is your time to explore, play, rest, swim and watch sunsets from our living room right on the beach.

This luxurious beach front villa will take your breath away with its majestic sunsets and relaxing jungle setting. The howler monkeys and iguanas surround the old growth mango trees and it is truly a nature lovers paradise. Located directly in front of Guiones tide pools and a short walk to the surf, this is a beach lover’s dream house. Enjoy your morning coffee from the hammock while you stare at the ocean or stroll down the beach as the sunrises.
There are plenty of different hangout areas throughout the property, with amazing outdoor spaces with hammocks and chaise lounge chairs available. The Villa includes a beautiful large teak yoga deck that sits only steps away from the golden sand and ocean waves.

Guiones Beach, Costa Rica

Nosara is located on the Nicoya Peninsula. It is one of five of the world’s “Blue Zones,” an area where locals live measurably longer and healthier lives.
Playa Guiones is a 7km long beach with the perfect sunsets almost every day. Nosara is a very laid back small town, with Farmer's Market happening every Tuesday with lots of opportunities to find local foods and art. Nosara is the perfect escape for every yogi.
Nosara is a beach town located between Samara and Tamarindo. It’s a perfect place for surfing, yoga, beach days, healthy and organic foods. The beach area of Nosara, where most restaurants and hotels are, is called Playa Guiones.
Experience Pura Vida in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Essentially, the meaning of Pura Vida is Pure Life or simple life and it is an attitude of the local people that is relaxed, peaceful and worry free. There really is no need to worry when you are in paradise. Concierge services are available including: activities such as horseback riding, surf lessons, fishing with local fishermen (a true experience), waterfall tours and much more can be arranged.
About Katarina Svabcikova

Katarina visited Costa Rica for the first time in 2022 during a wild-camping trip on an overlander that allowed her to experience true untouched beauty of this land and she immediately fell in love.
That's where her dream of leading yoga retreats in Costa Rica was born. She led her first yoga retreat there two years later (in March 2024) and is looking forward to return back to Nosara in February 2025.
Katarina is currently working as a Yoga Therapist at the Simon Cancer Center at IU Health as well as the Indianapolis Trauma Therapy Center. She is first and foremost a student who dedicated to the practice of yoga and now also zen buddhism. Through her studentship, she can offer what she is learning and integrating into her offerings.
In addition to this work, Katarina teaches three weekly classes at local yoga studios and leads a 50h Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings twice a year.
"My personal yoga practice is getting more and more simple the longer I practice. Yoga and Zen simply allow me to be who I truly am. To me, yoga is a state of being and certain quality of presence and all the yoga practices are tools through which I can connect to my body, mind, and spirit so that I can arrive into the state of Yoga. It is a practice of learning how I want to show up for myself and the people around me."
Booking and Cancelation Policy
Deposit of $500 secures your spot on the retreat and is not refundable and non-transferable.
Note: balance payments not received by December 22nd 2024 will result in the forfeiture of your space at this retreat.
Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing:

90 days prior to the Retreat: Cancellation requests made more than 3 months prior to the retreat (November 22nd 2024 End Of Business Hours) will receive any payments made minus the $500 nonrefundable deposit.

Cancellation requests made within 3 months of the retreat start date are non-refundable and the participant is expected to pay the full tuition amount. You are always able to attempt to sell your spot to a friend.
Exceptions to the cancelation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend or complete the retreat.
